Great service. The server kept checking on our table and served two kinds of water, warm and cold. We got lucky to have some cut apples for free dessert as we were the only table. I love their food too. Their menu is intentionally simple, which is common for specialized restaurants in Korea. It really brings me the tastes of the Korean food I long for! Their porkbone soup(gamjatang) is hands down my favorite Korean soup in town. I like the variety of their side dishes too

The best gamjatang in town. You will find lots of meat in the soup. We do not live in this area but we always stop by this place for this soup if we drive by Federal way.

I never write reviews, however, I needed to review how delicious and memorable this restaurant was! By far the best Korean food I’ve had in the Seattle area. I highly recommend this restaurant! The service was wonderful. If I lived closer, I would be here weekly!

This place never disappoints! The food is always delicious and consistent, the environment is spotless, and the service is top-notch. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. I especially loved the Gangjeong with green onion and the Gamjatang, absolutely amazing!

Writing this review on my way home from this place. I came here straight here from the airport. After a 10 hour layover in Korea. I looked up a famous soondae soup house in the kalgooksoo alley of namdaemoon market. I thought I was finally going to find a bowl of soup to dethrone this place. Nope. Did not even come close. Not to say I haven't had many other bowls of soup that compete with this place. But Yangpyung is truly a solid spot and very thankful to live within driving distance of it.

I originally dined here to their Bossam Jokbal set. While I am sad that they no longer offer it and have revamped their menu, I am happy to find their new menu of hangover soup & K-fried chicken are super delicious & awesome. Service was friendly and attentive. Two thumbs up.
